Sara A

Sara started teaching in 2013. She was drawn to the dynamic power in herself that was first discoverable through the art of pole. Sara has performed in over 50 showcases or burlesque productions, and competed at the Pacific Pole Competition in California in 2016. Having danced in a number of different studios in both the Midwest and West Coast since beginning pole in 2012, Sara brings knowledge from many different styles of dance and instruction. As a teacher, Sara emphasizes foundational aspects of pole at every level, creating balance for the body, and enjoying the journey of pole dancing. In Sara's classes, you will find a playful environment strongly rooted in empowerment and non-judgment. Her mission is to provide students with a mix of feeling accomplished and challenged in each class while helping them discover what feels good for their unique body as they get comfortable with their own personal movement style.

Sara is Certified Level 1 ElevatED (2018) and completed Vertical Foundation training with Performance Art Athletics (2018). She has also participated in 2 Weekend-long Finding Your Freestyle intensives with Tracee Kafer, and has taken workshops in-person with at least 15 different pole professionals.
